The first episode of the show was shot in Delhi, and it was a live show.[4] The producers invested ₹50 lakh (US$74,000) for the first promo of the show.[5][6][7] Kapil Sharma and his team performed live in Delhi, Lucknow, Bhopal and Amritsar before the premiere of the show for its promotion.[1][8][9] The show is a finite series of 26 episodes.
